Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone!

So the holidays are over and I hope everyone had a fantastic time. I know I did! In the days leading up to Christmas I had to make a few gifts for some lovely people. Here are the results:

This little number is a notebook that I covered for Emma. It’s a combination of eco felt and beautiful wool felt and wool fabrics. I made it to house her knitting notes for her projects.

These two guys were made for a couple of people at work. On the outside is snuggly knit yarn and inside is a sack of steel cut oats that can be removed and warmed up in the microwave. They’re great for winter and were a big hit!

Is anyone else prone to making the gifts they give?

Happy crafting!

Christmas Time is Near… Part 2

Earlier, maybe a month ago, I posted the beginnings of a major project I created for myself. I had to make 72 Holiday ornaments to sell at the TIFF Shop. I successfully completed my tasks and over the next couple of weeks I’d like to share the finished products! Let’s start with some of my favourite pieces, the Matryoshka dolls:

Next up are the candy canes:

And finally for today, are the small medallions with tiny trees stitched onto them:

I really enjoyed making these. Make sure to visit us again as I’ll be posting more photos of my handmade holiday ornaments!

Happy crafting!

Christmas Time is Near…

Hey everyone!

Emily here, I’ve been MIA for a while due to work but I’m back! Hope all is well. I’ve been working on some Christmas ornaments to sell at the TIFF Shop at the TIFF Bell Lightbox!

This is the first style that I completed; tiny presents!

These little guys were so quick to put together and fun to make!

I think the different colours will really pop on Christmas trees.

What colours do you like on your tree?

Does anybody else have holiday projects on the go? Please share if you do!

Let me know what you think. Happy crafting!
