Butternut Thai Coconut Soup

Hi All,

After a few too many days of holiday food I decided to make a Thai coconut soup to wake up my taste buds! This recipe came from Jamie Oliver and it is delicious. It’s called Party Squash Soup and you can find the recipe here.

A couple of the ingredients are harder to find (lime leaves, lemongrass), but are definitely worth it to complete this dish and get the right flavor.

Hope you try and enjoy!

Happy eating!

Completed: Fall Into Winter Cowl

Hey everyone!

So last week I posted my Fall into Winter cowl that I was working on. Well, guess what? It’s done! I’m so happy with the way it turned out and to share it with everyone.

Here’s the full body shot.

The length turned out great! Three balls of Jo Sharp’s alpaca kid lustre was perfect for this project.

I loved this method of binding off because in the past I’ve found my bind offs a little tighter than I’d like.

The size needle I used was perfect for the drape of the fabric.

And the colour combination really makes it stand out.

If you’re interested in making one of these cowls for yourself make sure to pop over to the original post for the pattern and all the details!

Hope you enjoy and try it for yourself!

Love, Emily
